Cat's heart sparked with joy when she located the plain glass dome and plate (see image) from an area antique shop. Cat created this wonderful piece of functional art in her studio using her RIBBONS OF COLOR style. Silver, Yellow and Red were used in a swirling pattern which creates energy and beauty for food presentation. Cat signed the artwork on the underneath side of the service plate (see photo). All painted areas are not in contact with food. The two glass artwork items have been sealed with four coats of high grade lacquer which will not be in contact with the food surfaces on the plate or the dome.
